Professional artist directly hand paint on the silk fabric just like they do on canvas. After the painting is completed the fabric undergoes various processes like steaming, drying, washing and polishing and quality control. An exhibition of Hand Painted sarees by Petuniadesigns was conducted at 

Abanindranath Tagore Gallery, Kolkata between 26th and 28th April, 2013

The exhibition was inaugurated by Shri Gautam Ghose - Film Director,

And Designers Smt. Nilanjana Ghose and Smt. Sharbori Dutta

Also present at the inaugural were Mr. Wasim R. Kapoor – Painter,
